*****THIS IS FOR A DIGITAL PDF DOWNLOAD OF A CROCHET PATTERN, NOT THE PHYSICAL ITEM!*****
Sick of paying too much money for hammocks that aren't even the right size for your enclosure? ToxicWitchWeavery has a solution for you! I’m new at writing crochet patterns, but I feel I’ve followed enough of them now, I should be able to write a basic pattern.
This will lay out how to make each size, as well as how to customize for your custom enclosures.
Materials;
About 165 grams of medium worsted weight (4) cotton yarn, to make the largest bridge. I use Lily's Sugar 'n Cream.
5mm(H8) hook for smaller spaces, 5.5mm(I9) for larger spaces.
Tapestry Needle
Scissors
Suction Cups/Hooks
Stitches Used (US Terms);
ch - Chain
dc - double Crochet
hdc - Half double crochet
st - Stitch
ea/st - Each stitch across
sk/st - Skip next stitch
*asterisks around instructions indicate a repeat*
I will give fair warning; DO NOT use these for snake *enclosures*! While these are good for out-of-enclosure enrichment for some smaller snakes, they can get stuck in the spaces between the stitches, and therefore should never be left unsupervised with these hammocks.
Feel free to make these for your pets, but please don’t sell the finished product from this pattern. I sell these in my shop, if you’d like, refer your friends to My Etsy Shop!
I would love to see your bridges! Wait to post your Etsy review until you’ve worked up your creation, and post in it the photo section! Bonus points in your scaly baby is using it in the picture, because we all know the best part about doing this for a living is getting to see everyone’s adorable pets!

I bought the pattern and I can't wait to make some up and play around with sizes - I have so many ideas for customizing this for my Dragons habitats! *update - made my first one and it was super easy! My girl isn't too sure about it yet but she'll get there :) Edit: My new baby Loves her bridge and climbing walls - she's even been sleeping on top of the wall.
